The Madhya Pradesh State Skill Development and Employment Generation Board (MPSSDEGB) has partnered with Bangalore-based Vocational Training and Social Change Foundation Unnati Sanstha to train 50,000 youths in employment skills over the next three years.
50,000 youths to be trained in employment skills in next 3 years
The first year of the program will focus on training 15,000 youths in employable skills. The training will cover four key areas: English communication, self-confidence building, continuous learning, and interview skills.
Minister of Technical Education, Skill Development, and Employment Yashodhara Raje Scindia said that the department is committed to fulfilling the dreams of the youth and providing them with opportunities to achieve them. She said that the construction of the Global Skills Park is in progress with the aim of enhancing the skills of the youth by giving them high-level training.

Scindia also urged the senior officials of Boeing and Infosys, who were connected online, to train the students by setting up their company’s labs in the Global Skills Park being developed in Bhopal.
For the final year students of government degree, ITI, polytechnic, and engineering colleges, Unnati Sanstha will provide free training in the UNXT program. The program will have a duration of around 165 hours and will be completed in 30 days.
The program is part of the state government’s efforts to skill the youth and make them employable. The government is also setting up a number of skill development centers across the state to provide training in various trades.
The training program is expected to benefit a large number of youth and help them in getting jobs. It will also help in reducing unemployment in the state.
